Belated Ho Ho Ho
I know we are WAY past Christmas but I just had to share this adorable card Marcia, my upline, gave me. Can't remember now who was responsible for the creation but isn't it CUTE??!! I had been toying around with whether or not I would get enough use out of the owl punch but I'm thinking I may have to include this on my next order. It would make a great Christmas card for next year as I'm always trying to find card inspirations that are flat and won't need extra postage.
RECIPE CARD
Paper: Jolly Holiday Designer Series Paper (DSP), Real Red, Chocolate Chip
Accessories: misc. ribbon
Tools/Techniques: Two-step Owl punch, Snowflake punch, Scallop Edge border punch, computer sentiment

Elements of Style
Isn't this card so beautiful and so simple?! It was a card that Jamie, one of my new SU teammates, gave me during a recent swap at our January downline meeting. I just love the color combination. Also love the elegant font of the sentiment, although I can't seem to figure out which set it is from. I'll have to e-mail her soon and will edit this post when I find out.
Here's the rest of the details:

Happy Valentines
Wanted to share the Valentines card I made for Allan this year. Dug into some old Designer Series Papers (Western Sky) I bought at the workshop we had a Mona's house. Boy! That's a few years ago I think. CASE'd this card from Splitcoaststampers which used the same papers. Cut the circle shapes, hearts and stars on the Cricut.
Thought it turned out pretty cute. Kind of masculine but still managed to squeeze in the hearts. Nice to spend some time thinking about what a good guy he truly is.
RECIPE CARD
Stamps: For All You Do
Paper: Western Sky DSP, Whisper White, Basic Black
Ink: Blue Bayou
Tools/Techniques: George Basic Shapes & Accent Essentials Cricut cartridges

Bold Blossom
The colors in this card make me SO HAPPY! I've been suffering from the February blues and seem to be craving anything that's bright, warm and sunny. This card that Marcia (my upline) gave me during a recent SU team meeting really satsifies my need for anything older than cold and gray.
I just placed a BIG order last week and I don't know how this precious stamp set missed getting on my wish list. But there's a couple of stamp pads I seemed to have missed - how is that possible given the size of my order??!! - so I may just have to include this set on the next order.
Here's the details:
RECIPE CARD
Stamps: Bold Blossom
Paper: Daffodil Delight, Peach Parfait, Whisper White
Ink: Peach Parfait, Possy Parade, Pear Pizzazz
Tools/Techniques: Framed Tulips embossing folder

LOVE is in the air
Valentines day is just around the corner. I'm spending a cozy day in the craft room working on organizing my Stampin Up supplies and getting ready for all the new stuff that's on the way. Also waiting for inspiration to hit me with an idea for a card for my sweetie. Geez! I hope it comes soon!
This card is one Marcia (my upline) gave me to welcome me to the SU family. I just love it. It's a stamp set that is from the 2010 Holiday Mini. I didn't get a chance to order it but hopefully SU will see fit to include it in the next big catalog. If not, I guess we'll just improvise with what we have.
RECIPE CARD
Stamps: Filled With Love
Paper: Blushing Bride
Ink: Melon Mambo, Old Olive
Accessories: Bitty Buttons, Organza Ribbon
Tools/Techniques: Scallop Edge border punch
